- Application Load requirements (i.e. pedestrian or fork lifts)
- Length and width of catchment area
- Length of trench run
- Degree of Ground fall along trench run
- Degree of Ground Slope running into trench
- Workable Depth in slab
- Rainfall intensity (mm/hr)
